Whether you’re looking for extra shifts to boost your income or a flexible job that fits around your lifestyle, if you’re an experienced Driver you can join our staff bank and after completing a paid two-week induction, you’ll have access to available Driving and on-site escorting shifts at The Chimneys Clinic.
There is no minimum number of hours you’re required to work, though it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.
Whether your experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the maintenance team with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking and much more.
As a Bank Driver you will:
1. Drive patients and staff to a variety of different locations, ensuring that the journey is completed in a safe and timely manner, using the most efficient route.
2. Drive staff and other visitors to/from the unit as required by the Line Manager. Collect and delivers consumables or assets for the Unit during periods of the day when not involved in other activities.
3. Ensure that the Hospital vehicles are cleaned regularly, maintained correctly and safely and that any damage or faults are dealt with immediately.
4. Ensure that vehicles are fuelled at all times and record-keeping is kept up to date and available when requested
To be successful in this role, you will have:

The Chimneys Clinic is a 12 bedded service providing specialist care that is specifically designed to support women that have a diagnosis of an emerging or personality disorder.
Working alongside the multidisciplinary team at The Chimney’s, you will support with mindful practice, high levels of engagement and think on your feet to create activities to aid the recovery for each young woman within their journey.
The focus of the service is to enable the young women to work on ways to decrease harmful behaviours and replace them with effective strategies to enhance their lives and help them reach their personal life goals.
