Join a leading Tier One contractor and take your career to the next level! Randstad C&P are seeking a Sub Agent to play a key role in delivering complex and high-profile highways schemes in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual with experience in civil engineering and highways projects to join a prestigious contractor and contribute to major infrastructure improvements, with more local works to follow this one.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring efficient delivery of highways schemes to programme, budget, and quality standards.
2. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
3. Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, conducting regular site inspections and audits.
4. Support the Site Agent in planning and programming works, maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
Requirements:
5. Proven experience working on highways or large-scale civil engineering projects, ideally within a Tier One contractor environment.
6. Strong understanding of highways construction processes, standards, and regulations.
7. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage site teams.
8. Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management (HNC/HND/BEng or equivalent).
9. Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification and CSCS card.
10. Full UK driving licence.
