Our team in Blackburn are seeking to appoint an experienced and capable individual in the role of Operative.
Reporting to the Service Manager, and acting as part of the team, the successful candidate will undertake daily operations within the Service Centre facility. Duties will include c leansing, building and modifying a range of medical devices whilst also satisfying dispatch and quality check responsibilities. This is a fast-paced environment and work must be of a consistent high standard.
Key tasks associated with the role are as follows:
Work with the wider team to support continued quality of product, cost efficiencies and achieving KPIs.
Contribute to and improve the consistent delivery of high standards and process development within production and manufacturing operations.
Adhere to all Company standards of conduct at all times.
Uphold strict confidentiality with regards to Company operations, policies, and future plans
Deliver works in accordance with ISO procedures.
Any other task for which the postholder is qualified and experienced to undertake.
Applicants should possess good communication skills and experience working in a team and collaborating with colleagues. It is essential applicants possess excellent attention to detail and can work with speed and accuracy.
A flexible, adaptable, and energetic approach to work is essential as is operating in a tidy and organised manner and contribute to keeping the working environment safe.
Applicants should demonstrate excellent timekeeping and attendance.
Possessing an Electrical / Mechanical Engineering qualification would be advantageous as would a background in the production of medical devices however this is not essential. Possession of a UK Driving Licence is desirable but not essential.
