Main duties of the job
As a Unit Nurse Manager (General), you'll plan, manage, and monitor the delivery of nursing that meets all of our residents' needs. This includes implementing person-centred care plans, planning rotas, recruiting, training and mentoring staff, and building relationships with local regulators and social services.

Experience in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments is essential, along with up-to-date knowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. You should be a natural leader who has mentored clinical staff and supported newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship. You must be dedicated, ambitious, and resilient, with a strong track record of delivering improvements for quality care.
