Job Description
I have an exciting opportunity for a talented Structural Technician to join my client's dynamic Design Team. This role is integral in supporting the design and manufacturing process by creating detailed 3D models and 2D General Arrangement drawings, ensuring they align with client specifications and project scope in the construction sector.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Create accurate 3D models using Revit and develop 2D drawings for manufacturing
* Produce layouts, sections, elevations, and other details based on project requirements
* Ensure all designs meet client expectations and company standards
* Collaborate with Architects, Design Managers, and other client team members to resolve technical queries
* Provide design support to manufacturing and construction teams
* Work in line with project schedules and budget
* Maintain and control design documentation, including managing third-party feedback
* Ensure all design work adheres to digital platforms and internal procedures
What We're Looking For:
* Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role
* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD to produce detailed models and drawings
* Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Ability to work independently or within a team to meet project deadlines
* Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
* Knowledge of BIM and best practices
* Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
