About the Role:You’ll be an essential part of a close-knit, high-performing team where your skills will be valued and developed.During the probation period, the role is fully office-based to ensure you receive the best support, training and integration into our team.After successfully completing probation, you can choose between a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 from home) or staying fully office-based — whichever suits you best— along with flexible start and finish times, giving you greater control over your working day.

What You’ll Do:
* Prepare and manage invoices, VAT returns, payroll and bookkeeping duties
* Produce trial balances, monthly management accounts, budgets and cash flow forecasts
* Carry out credit control, prepare payment runs, costings and pricing
* Prepare and submit year-end accounts and self-assessment tax returns
* Help configure and improve financial processes and procedures
* Collaborate on a range of financial operations within the accounts department
* Take on additional ad-hoc tasks as needed — no two days are the same!
What We’re Looking For:
* Level 4 AAT qualified (or ACCA part-qualified/qualified)
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
* Minimum 1 year of payroll experience
* Solid grasp of double-entry bookkeeping and financial accounting
* Strong working knowledge of Xero, SageCloud, Sage50 Accounts and QuickBooks
* Experience in the domiciliary care sector is highly desirable
Key Skills:
* Excellent English communication skills — written and spoken
* Confident and courteous in client interactions
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Outlook and Word
* Highly organised with brilliant attention to detail
* Self-motivated, proactive and disciplined with excellent teamwork skills
* Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage a dynamic workload
Essential Requirements:
* Must be based in Bournemouth/Poole and have the right to work in the UK
* Must be willing to work full-time from the Bournemouth office during probation
