Job description ActiveSelect are seeking a highly organised and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Children's Home Deputy Manager who promotes independence and self-esteem. The 3-bed residential children’s home provides accommodation and care for children who are unable to live with their families for various reasons. Our home operates under strict regulatory frameworks to ensure the well–being, safety, and development of the children in our care. All our staff are highly trained professionals who create a nurturing environment, addressing the physical, emotional, and educational needs of the children. We endeavour to go above and beyond the minimum specific standards to maintain our registration, including appropriate staffing levels, safety measures, and adherence to all relevant laws. Key Responsibilities: Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home. Lead and motivate a team of dedicated care staff. Ensure the highest standards of care and safeguarding are maintained. Contribute to the development and implementation of effective care plans. Build positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies. Support the Registered Manager in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
