About the opportunity:
* Supervise and mentor the Assistant Land Buyer within the Land Team.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with local authorities, agents, landowners, and other developers within the Division’s geographical area, staying informed on current and emerging market opportunities.
* Identify and assess potential sites for residential development that align with the Division’s strategic goals.
* Collaborate with the Land Director to prepare accurate viability assessments in support of land offers.
* Gather essential information, including ordinance survey records, flood risk assessments, tree protection orders, relevant planning data, and local policies.
* Analyse and produce comprehensive development assessments, including build costs, market research, local planning policies, and technical details, to evaluate the potential success of a development.
About the benefits and rewards:
The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £50k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.
About the requirements:
