The IAP Service Manager is an exciting opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional to take responsibility for the management and delivery of the IAP services. More information is available here: Mental Health Integrated Access Partnership.
These services operate within a nationally leading, award-winning, integrated model. The post holder will collaborate closely with neighbouring services and Service and Team Managers to ensure seamless care delivery across all pathways.
Focusing on workforce and leading a team to maintain high standards of quality and satisfaction for colleagues and patients, the IAP Service Manager will provide operational management and leadership for all IAP Services across partner organizations, focusing on CAS, PL, and UAC. They will supervise Team Managers and staff, providing cross-cover as needed.
To work as part of a team responsible for delivering key targets related to service performance, integrated governance, workforce planning, partnership development, and financial sustainability.
The IAP Service Manager will work closely with Service Users, Carers, Clinical Staff, Performance Management and Finance Staff, Corporate Services, Human Resources, Community Care, and Independent and Non-Profit Organisations to deliver operational services. They will help develop the IAP's identity and structure by ensuring clear accountability for all key result areas and performance management.
The IAP Service Manager will monitor service performance using the Balanced Scorecard and ensure accurate data entry, collaborating with acute and community care colleagues to improve patient flow and experience.
Representing the Trust professionally to staff, partners, service users, and carers, whilst supporting the Integrated Governance framework and ensuring effective governance.
Liaising with service users, carers, staff, and partners to ensure shared understanding of services.
Ensuring Health and Safety compliance within the service area and staff compliance with clinical mechanisms such as care planning, safeguarding, and records management.
Implementing effective line management processes for staff, including recruitment, appraisal, and grievance handling.
Participating in the out-of-hours on-call rota and ensuring compliance with legal duties, whilst managing the service area budget and ensuring financial sustainability.
Management of individual and team performance to meet objectives.
Lead service area redesign to align with national policies and evidence.
Deliver services with sensitivity to community diversity.
Manage identified projects within the service and conduct investigations of incidents, complaints, and grievances.
Maintain effective communication with staff, unions, service users, and carers.
