PRENTICE PORTADOWN LTD Business Manager BMW & MINI Located on the outskirts of Portadown, Prentice is a locally owned family business. Operating from our state of the art showroom, we are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated individual to join our BMW & MINI Sales Department. This position offers the opportunity for a motivated individual with strong presentation skills to help develop and deliver a robust F&I process within both BMW and MINI. You will, with the support of the Sales Manager; build and develop the current success by providing F&I structure while maximising both individual and team potential. About the role This role would suit a manager with F&I experience gained within the motor industry, who has well-developed leadership skills and knowledge of all motor trade finance products and FCA compliance regulations. You will be able to demonstrate proven success within a F&I department and your ability to deliver a high level of service. In addition, you will need to be able to display the passion and ability to deliver extraordinary customers satisfaction to ensure repeat and referral business. Being a Business Manager it will be your responsibility to manage the Sales Team to achieve F&I targeted results and deliver an exceptional level of service to our customer base. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Business Manager will be responsible for achieving department F&I Penetration and income targets as set by the Sales Manager. As a BMW & MINI Business Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: To make contact with every retail customer, prior to the delivery of the vehicle with the aim of maximising F&I income, while ensuring FCA compliance is adhered to. To work directly with the sales team, assisting in the vehicle sale process, irrespective of whether or not there is F & I income involved. Providing information on F&I income achieved by the sales team for commission payments at month end. To maximise new and repeat business by providing a knowledgeable, courteous, responsive and efficient service, alongside an effective and robust renewal process To participate in marketing initiatives as required by the Sales Manager in order to attract new F&I business or vehicle sales. To obtain proposal information from customers, convey this information to the finance company promptly, accurately and honestly and regulate responses received. To prepare and complete F&I documents accurately and honestly in accordance with legal requirements (in particular as laid down by the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and by the relevant insurance codes of practice) and with FCA Guidelines. To ensure the Company is paid by the F&I Companies as soon as possible after the documents have been agreed and signed by the customer, prior to collection/delivery of a vehicle. To provide regular and ad hoc information on F&I penetration income and compliance to Sales Manager. To maintain full and accurate records of all F&I transactions via F&I logs, individual trackers. To keep abreast of current market conditions, competitors activities, interest rates, taxations, legislation and any other matters relating to F&I. To ensure all finance documentation is completed to payment confirmation stage within 2 working days and these are correctly allocated at the month end. To provide the Fleet/Corporate Sales Executives with F & I support as required. To comply with the FCA regulations and maintain regulated status in the advice of insurance products. Take an active part in upholding the Companys Health and Safety Policy as set out in the Conditions of Employment and the Health & Safety Handbook. Essential Criteria Applicants must demonstrate how they meet the following criteria: Minimum 2 years previous experience in a Business Executive/Business Manager role gained within the automotive industry. Knowledge of FCA Regulations Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail with strong organisational skills. Possess a high degree of self-motivation, confidence and tenacity. Excellent relationship building, customer facing and negotiating skills. Knowledge of funding solutions for both individual and business users. Proven negotiation skills, including objection handling and ability to close. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage conflicting demands. Excellent IT skills to include MS Office and Excel. Honest, respectful with a strong sense of integrity. High level of understanding of the F&I and Sales process Good level of literacy and numeracy to include English & Math GCSE or the equivalent, grade C or above. Hold a full and valid UK Driving License.
