We’re working with aleader in high-reliability electronic components, who are looking to recruit a Planning and Logistics Manager to help streamline their operations. If you’re passionate about planning, logistics, and continuous improvement, this is the role for you!
What You’ll Do:
* Work with the supply chain team to align production schedules with material availability.
* Manage logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery.
* Keep inventory levels balanced and minimize waste.
* Collaborate with procurement to address material shortages.
* Lead improvements in logistics processes to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
* Maintain strong relationships with carriers and warehouses.
* Report on performance and address any operational challenges.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in production planning, logistics, and inventory management.
* Proficiency with ERP systems and supply chain software.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Leadership experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 5+ or equivalent.
* CPIM and/or CLTD certifications are a plus.
