We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Technician to help new and existing clients during an exciting growth phase for our business. The Support Technician role is a critical customer facing role for our business and we treat you as such. The Technician's role is providing both on-site support for their named customers and remote IT Support for local and regional customers. It's a busy, dynamic role, working with a high degree of autonomy, supported by excellent systems and exceptional teammates. Our ideal candidate: Probably degree educated with a significant amount of varied IT experience, likely from an MSP. Be Microsoft qualified in MS Cloud Services. Excellent customer facing communication and customer handling skills. Keen to learn emerging technologies and philosophies. Unflappable and professional in approach and appearance. Cautious, thorough and able to document and follow processes. Thorough knowledge of Azure, Cloud Migrations and MS365, Windows 11, Server 2019 and predecessors, HyperV, Microsoft Exchange 2019 and predecessors, Networks and Backups. Knowledge of Apple Mac, Iphone, Android, VM Ware, and Sonicwall advantageous. The candidate will be required to have a full UK driving licence and a car suitable for business use. However on-site support represents perhaps only 25% of this function. The Role: Provide on-site and remote technical support to our customers Provide occasional Out of Hours support, in turn, as part of our rota. Support MS cloud, on premis servers and hybrid infrastructures Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with our Best Practice guides, ISO9001:2015 and ISO 270001 standards in an auditable manner.
