Christmas is coming and so is busy season! My client is looking for a part time payroll administrator to join them to support with the increased payroll demand in the booking / productions team over Christmas with the view to move over into their group payroll team on a permanent basis after 3 months.
Role
1. Process company payrolls every pay period and update records in iTrent
2. Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
3. Answer staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
4. Running Pension reports and uploading contributions
5. Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant legislation
6. Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
7. Honour confidentiality of employees' pay records
8. Compile payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or key stakeholder review
9. Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships to ensure clear communication and dissemination of information
10. Assisting with communication with HMRC where required in connection with payroll
Experience & Skills Required:
1. Knowledge of MHR iTrent system / Sage 50 and Excel
2. Competent understanding of payroll compliance and legislation
3. Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping
4. Strong attention to detail & organisation skills
5. Good written & verbal communication skills
