Quantity Surveyor – Major Infrastructure Project
Location: Hinkley Point C (Site-based with occasional Bristol office visits)
Work Pattern: 9-day fortnight

Your Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll provide expert commercial management and contract administration support to the project and leadership teams. Your key responsibilities include:
Pre-Contract:
*
Supporting tendering and estimating processes.
*
Reviewing and negotiating contract conditions.
*
Assisting in commercial strategy development.
Contract Administration & Risk Management:
*
Protecting commercial interests while maintaining collaborative client relationships.
*
Managing contractual matters and dispute resolutions.
*
Ensuring compliance with contract policies and procedures.
Cost Control & Valuations:
*
Producing cost reports, forecasts, and valuations.
*
Ensuring timely and accurate client payments.
*
Monitoring cash flow and financial performance.
Change & Supply Chain Management:
*
Identifying and securing variations in scope and associated cost recovery.
*
Managing subcontractor engagements, valuations, and performance.
*
Negotiating terms and ensuring risk mitigation.
Reporting & Forecasting:
*
Preparing financial reports and forecasts.
*
Supporting internal and external commercial meetings.

Contributing to audits and compliance processes.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. ✔ Ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders. ✔ Experience with JCT and NEC contracts. ✔ Background in cost management systems (SAP, Oracle, Coins, etc. preferred). ✔ A formal qualification in Quantity Surveying (preferred but not essential). ✔ 3+ years of experience in the construction industry
