Role Overview:
As a KS1 Primary Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to young learners in Key Stage 1. You will create a stimulating classroom environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of your students. Your role will involve planning and implementing a diverse and inclusive curriculum, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.
Key Responsibilities as a Class Teacher:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students in Key Stage 1.- Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.- Develop and implement individual learning plans to address the diverse needs of students.- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to facilitate improvement.- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning environment.- Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to engage and motivate students.- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of the school's curriculum.- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational practices and standards.- Prepare and maintain accurate records of student achievements and assessments.
Requirements:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.- Strong organisational and time-management skills.- Commitment to the well-being and development of students.- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.- Passion for teaching and enthusiasm for helping young learners succeed.
