About the role
Responsible for the efficient running of our Electrical Function within our Skegness resort, you’ll ensure that the highest standard of service is met consistently, ensuring that we delight our guests and receive positive feedback. Leading a team to deliver excellent service, engage the team, and ensure best practices, you will support daily activities including routine maintenance, servicing, and repairing of domestic, commercial, and electrical equipment. You will manage project works with team and subcontractors, plan and operate the rota system including on-call systems, and be available for call outs if required. A good knowledge of fault finding and installation works is essential. The role involves a 5-day working week over 7 days, with flexibility for late work and at least one weekend day per week. As part of the Resorts Management team, you will manage internal teams and external service providers to ensure full compliance with all H&S policies. You will oversee recruitment, performance, and team development, and support your team’s growth through regular PDP discussions. The role requires quick thinking, proactive engagement, and prioritizing guest experience above all.
About You
We seek an experienced electrical leader capable of supporting a team to deliver outstanding service, always putting guests first. You should have experience in training and coaching in a lively environment, with previous leadership experience, the ability to prioritize demanding workloads, work independently, and proficiently operate PC/Microsoft Suite. Confidence in directing responses in any situation while maintaining brand standards is necessary. You must be able to motivate and inspire your team, manage multiple priorities, and adapt swiftly to change. Strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering excellent results are essential. You will need an 18th Edition electrical qualification and a HVK license.
General Duties & Key Accountabilities
* Manage team during shifts on key tasks and objectives.
* Drive add-on sales and support team promotions.
* Ensure stock and propositions are available for guests.
* Monitor and ensure delivery of a quality guest experience aligned with brand standards.
* Capture and respond to guest feedback.
* Provide accurate rotas three weeks in advance via SAM and ensure system accuracy.
* Monitor NPS and act on guest feedback where possible.
* Coach and develop team members to meet departmental goals.
* Uphold Butlin’s Values and Leadership Behaviours.
* Focus on RPRRT in team rotas.
* Build strong relationships across the resort and support teams.
* Handle people support tasks, including onboarding, PDPs, performance management, and HR processes.
