Summary of the role
The role of an Account Manager at IMA is to manage client projects and the day-to-day running of accounts, delivering excellent client experience at all times, and to build relationships with clients, internal departments, and external partners. In this role, you will support the Account Director and Global Client Director on two key accounts - a global skincare brand and a global confectionery brand.
Some responsibilities of the Account Manager role will include
1. Build and develop good relationships with clients and wider stakeholders, acting as the primary day-to-day contact.
2. Understand client’s objectives and challenges, and develop market insight to support planning and the creative process.
3. Ensure an appropriate level of senior strategic or creative input, both in projects and at meetings.
4. Responsible for the successful interpretation of client briefs into great creative work, ensuring senior sign-off.
5. Ensure day-to-day updates to internal financial processes are completed, including un-billed, weekly forecast, and timesheets.
6. Plan and organise schedules for all work going through the agency, working with other Account Managers to support peaks and troughs.
