Summary of the role
The role of a Senior Account Manager at IMA is to oversee day-to-day communication between clients and IMA, ensuring consistently high client experience levels are achieved in balance with commercial success. A Senior Account Manager should start to exhibit Account Director attributes demonstrating the ability to direct client accounts, handle more senior conversations, and actively contribute to growth.
Some responsibilities of the Senior Account Manager role will include:
* Developing strong, trusting relationships with senior clients, suppliers, and IMA, establishing a solid foundation from which to achieve consistent fulfilment of time expectations, quality standards, and budget tolerances.
* Establishing clear and consistent communication channels across client and IMA, promoting a collaborative work ethic to achieve effective delivery, applying strong negotiation skills where necessary to achieve positive outcomes.
* Understanding client’s objectives and challenges and developing market insight to support with planning and the creative process.
* Responsible for successful interpretation of client brief into great creative and successfully presenting creative output, ensuring senior sign-off.
* Obtaining full knowledge of the financial health and relationship status of each client, ensuring commercial targets are tracked accurately and achieved.
