Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant - Leicester\n\nPosition: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant\nLocation: Leicester\nSalary: £90 - £100 per day\nContract Type: Full-time\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nAbout the Role:\nWe are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a positive impact in their educational journey.\n\nAs a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of learning, social, and emotional needs. You will assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and providing one-on-one or small group support to ensure each child has the opportunity to thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.\nAssist teachers in preparing and delivering personalised lesson plans and activities.\nSupport students in accessing the curriculum and overcoming barriers to learning.\nHelp manage classroom behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.\nMonitor and track student progress, working with teachers to adjust support as needed.\nProvide emotional and behavioural support to students when necessary.\nWork closely with the SENCO and other staff to implement support strategies for students with additional needs.\n\nRequirements:\n\nPrevious experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs.\nA genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nPatience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting students' development.\nAbility to work well as part of a team and contribute to a positive school environment.\nFlexibility and a willingness to adapt to the needs of individual students.\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nCompetitive daily rate of £90 - £100.\nFull-time role with an immediate start.\nOngoing support and professional development throughout your assignment.\nA supportive and inclusive school environment focused on both student and staff success.\nOpportunities for career progression within the SEN education field.\n\nHow to Apply:\nIf you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with SEN, we would love to hear from you.
