The position is based at Liverpool University Dental Hospital. This post forms part of a high quality consultant led oral surgery network across Cheshire & Merseyside. The post holder will join the current team within Liverpool University Dental Hospital. Main duties of the job The post holder is expected to have a high level of knowledge and expertise in the field of Oral Surgery and should have an innovative approach to patient care, teaching and management. The post holder will be expected to work under the line management of the Care Group Clinical Director and Divisional Medical Director of Liverpool University Dental Hospital. The post has an important role in teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students. The post holder is responsible to the School to discharge this duty. The post holder is expected to provide treatment under local anaesthesia, intravenous sedation and general anaesthesia and offering flexibility to satisfy NHS targets.
