We are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated teaching assistant join our academy, to support pupils with SEND and to ensure that every child succeeds.This role also has the opportunity to gain a Level 2 qualification in Teaching & Learning for anyone interested in becoming a Teaching Assistant. If this is an opportunity you are interested in please advise us in your application. Key responsibilities:· Assist in the preparation and maintenance of basic classroom resources and equipment
· Assist in the display of students work as directed by the Teacher and provide students with practical assistance in the classroom
· Assist with the general pastoral care of the students
· Support students in the use of ICT in learning activities
· Attend to the day to day needs of children, inside and outside the classroom including provision of personal, social, hygiene, welfare and behaviour support for students
Pay range: NJC, SP5-SP7 (FTE £24,790 to £25,584 per annum) actual salary £21,803 to £22,501 per annum.

o Educated to a good standard
o Experience of effectively supporting children in a learning environment
o Commitment to continuing personal and professional development
o Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
o Energy, patience, a good sense of humour and enthusiasm.
