The Role
We are seeking an experienced, proven, entrepreneurial Sales Director to lead our Named Account Team covering accounts across UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for:
1. Recruiting, developing, and retaining highly talented field salespeople.
2. Achieving annual Enterprise bookings quota with monthly and quarterly targets.
3. Identifying, growing, and closing new business at executive levels (CISO/CIO/CTO) in enterprise accounts within the designated territory.
4. Presenting compelling business cases to senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
5. Creating positive momentum in the cybersecurity market.
6. Focusing on selling to enterprise accounts (2.5k – 15k mailbox organisations).
7. Implementing strategic growth within the region, setting the direction, and ensuring execution against plan.
8. Leading sales for new and existing enterprise customers, consistently achieving or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets capturing market share.
9. Defining and reporting on metrics to measure performance of sales activities, accurately forecasting and presenting deal analysis.
10. Determining resource requirements and identifying significant and profitable growth opportunities.
11. Developing and maintaining client and partner relationships to increase business scalability.
12. Effectively supporting and managing contract negotiations facilitating resolution of major sales objections presented by customers.
13. Providing insight on value proposition, positioning, local market knowledge and agreeing priorities for region and vertical market.
14. Recruiting, leading, coaching and inspiring a talented team of senior sales executives.
15. Managing employee goal setting, performance assessments, career planning and development driving the adoption of solution selling.
16. Collaborating with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing and Support to close deals, drive revenue and adoption, and to meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
What you bring to the team:
1. Experience in hyper growth, building out large organizations at scale, within the Enterprise Market.
2. Knowledge of the cyber security market and current threat landscape.
3. Familiarity and experience using consultative, value-based sales methodologies (Force Management, Challenger Sales, MEDDIC, etc).
4. Proven record of leading a successful new business sales team and a hunger for success beyond targets and sustained growth.
5. Channel-centric in approach to go-to-market and experience of working effectively within a direct sale led and Channel-led sales organization.
6. Expert team builder, team player and leader who understands you win as a team, and has the ability to inspire and create loyalty, trust, and respect across not only their team, but also cross-functionally.
7. Commercial acumen and attention to detail, thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution as well as the ability to lead a large and culturally diverse team in coordination with managers and through managers.
8. Able to create a business plan, build a strong business pipeline, accurately forecast and close business.
9. Existing influential customer relationships and able to understand the security threat landscape, and become the trusted advisor of the CSO.
