As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the pharmacy’s operations by assisting pharmacists, managing stock, and ensuring smooth customer service.

Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Assistant at TerryWhite Chemmart Kingston Town, you will support the pharmacy team by performing a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the pharmacy. You are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and making recommendations for over-the-counter products, as well as advice for their use in line with your level of experience and training. You also play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
* Provide patients and customers with information on over-the-counter medications and general healthcare advice
* Manage and organise stock levels, including receiving, unpacking, and restocking medications and supplies
* Maintain accurate records, including prescription logs, inventory levels, and customer interactions
* Handle customer inquiries, both in person and over the phone, with professionalism and care
* Process payments for prescriptions and other healthcare products
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a healthcare-related role is a plus, but not essential
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Basic computer skills, including familiarity with pharmacy software systems
* A genuine interest in healthcare and a desire to provide excellent patient care
* Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
