With a diverse portfolio that includes a broad range of projects and sectors, we are at the forefront of the industry, handling projects with a value of up to £20 million.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join a growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the project development, ensuring accurate cost estimates that align with the business strategic goals. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for a variety of construction projects.
Analyse project drawings, specifications, and scope of work to determine costs.
Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information.
Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct market research to stay updated on material costs and industry trends.
Assist in the preparation of bid submissions and proposals.
Provide support during negotiations and project handover.Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably with a main contractor.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost management.
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
