Tasks and Responsibilities:
* A great communicator with a people first mindset and the capability to lead; engage and develop teams
* Proven experience in warehousing and stock management ecomms an advantage
* Experienced in working with WMS and associated systems
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse data.
* Client focused
* Passionate about Health and Safety with the knowledge to set and lead the Health and Safety agenda
Profile:
* To manage the Inventory Team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of stock levels within the DC, through activities such as cycle counting, stock interrogation and problem resolution
* To ensure that the correct systems and mechanisms are used to accurately record, monitor and maintain stock levels
* To review data and use this information to advise and support the BI and Stock Control Manager on strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures
* To maintain an accurate inventory database that includes detailed information on available stock
* To work closely with operations to organise the efficient flow of stock through the DC
* To investigate discrepancies through to resolution and ensure corrective action is taken to prevent future occurrences or is escalated in a timely manner
* To make stock adjustments as necessary
* To support the Customer Services Team in responding to enquiries and complaints in a timely manner
* To meet high standards in terms of hygiene and Health and Safety, managing breaches in line with Company policy
* To meet stretching team KPIs to maximise profitability
* To build meaningful relationships with the Clients, ensuring Bleckmann remains their third party of choice
* To manage team issues positively (absence/ poor performance/ misconduct), adhering to Company policy and procedures if appropriate
* To foster a positive working environment through regular communication with the team, providing feedback; encouraging ideas, developing skills, understanding concerns and celebrating success
