Job Summary
We are seeking an Office Manager to support the leadership of our European team and ensure our office on Hill’s Road, Cambridge, is well-managed. You will also be our Employee Experience Coordinator, supporting administrative HR functions.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about fostering a positive workplace environment and enhancing the overall employee experience. As the Employee Experience Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day office operations and supporting HR functions. You will be the go-to person for ensuring our office runs smoothly and our employees are engaged, motivated, and well-supported.
Our Cambridge office is open Tuesday to Thursday each week, so you will need to be present on those days, and then work from home on Mondays and Fridays. 80% of full time can be considered for this role, however, availability Monday to Friday is required due to the nature of the executive assistance part of this role.
What You’ll Do
* Oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring an accessible, clean, organised, and well-stocked environment.
* Provide executive assistant support to the European management team, including diary management, travel arrangements, creation of presentations and documents and provision of general administrative support.
* Work with colleagues in our legal department to ensure all insurance, inspections, assessments, training and policies are in place.
* Manage incoming and outgoing post and parcels.
* Act as the “first face” of the company, greeting and assisting occasional visits from guests, clients, and employees.
* Serve as the main point of contact for office-related inquiries and issues.
* Organise a variety of events and activities, including monthly Town Hall meetings.
* Develop creative solutions to enhance employee satisfaction and well-being.
* Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
* Assist the HR team with various aspects of the employment process, including onboarding of new staff members and management of systems and information.
* Gather and analyse employee feedback to identify areas for improvement.
