The Opportunity: We're looking for a degree qualified Quantity Surveyor with over 2 years experience to join a team in Colchester. You'll be working on a diverse range of projects (£500k - £15m) across sectors like defence, healthcare, education, and commercial. Your expertise will be crucial in managing cost control from initial budget advice to final account settlement. Chartered status (MRICS) is preferred, but full support is provided if you're working towards it. A bit about what you'll be doing: Provide expert cost management services to clients. Develop cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation. Advise on design from a cost perspective. Analyse tenders and provide recommendations. Support Project Managers with cost advice on-site. Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time. Agree final accounts with contractors and clients What you'll bring: Degree in Quantity Surveying with 2 years of experience. MRICS chartered status or working towards chartership (APC support provided). Strong knowledge of traditional and modern construction techniques.
