An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Street Works Notice Handler to join our team.

You willbe responsible for ensuring that the company meets its obligations under New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) and Traffic Management Act (TMA).
Competitive salary of between £22,011 - £24,268 (P&A L1 pp3-5)

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be accountable for:
•Ensure full compliance with New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) and Traffic Management Act (TMA)
•Serving and maintaining notices and permits within the relevant timescales in order to meet the works programme
•Managing the opening and closure process on all notices and permits including registration of reinstatement measurements
•Issuing of daily/weekly reports to ensure compliance with NRSWA & TMA
•Building and Maintaining relationships with colleagues, Service Providers and Local Authorities
•Handle day to day enquires relating to section 74 overruns
•Process payments including fixed penalty notices and overrun charges
•Overflow call taking, for loss of supply calls during busy periods, major incidents and on a regular rota basis
•Liaising with the Local Authorities & Service providers
•Escalate site and safety issues including 2-4 hour defects received from local authorities to service providers and management team

Qualifications and Attributes
Essential Qualifications and Experience
•GCSE English
•Relevant experience of working in an administrative or customer service environment
•IT skills and experience with using Microsoft packages including Microsoft Word and Excel
•Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team
•Experience using Microsoft Office
•
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
•Knowledge of Street Works Legislations
