We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join a leading audio company based in the East Midlands. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging role, this is your chance to become an integral part of our client's busy Operations team. You will play a key role in supporting the publishing process - from studios and casting to artwork creation - ensuring the smooth execution of purchasing activities for groundbreaking content across multiple markets, including English, French, and German.
In this varied and fast-paced role, you'll collaborate with talented teams across the business and communicate with creative professionals, such as narrators, editors, designers, authors, and literary agents. With responsibilities ranging from analysing title activity to raising purchase orders and ensuring timely invoice management, you'll directly contribute to the seamless production of industry-leading publications.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Manage purchase orders and ensure all purchasing activity is accurately accounted for in SAP.
2. Analyse upcoming projects and provide timely updates to the senior team.
3. Review costs, invoices, and Goods Receipt Notes to ensure compliance with procedures.
4. Collaborate across departments, including Finance, Operations, and Casting, to maintain smooth workflows.
5. Support international teams in France and Germany with purchasing and invoice analysis.
6. Assist in process development and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
7. Provide transport and accommodation support for authors and actors attending studio recordings.
Our client is seeking a team player with exceptional organisational abilities and a keen eye for detail, someone who thrives in a collaborative setting and excels at managing workloads while meeting tight deadlines. As a proactive problem-solver, you'll bring experience with SAP or similar systems, and additional language skills, particularly in German or French, will be considered an asset.
A confident communicator, you'll be at ease engaging with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally. If you have a passion for the publishing industry and possess the skills mentioned, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a hybrid role, requiring two days per week in the office, offering the perfect balance of flexibility and collaboration.
