This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, motivated and enthusiastic Management Accountant to join the Provider Collaborative Commissioning Delivery Team within Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT).
Our Provider Collaborative brings together the providers of CAMHS Tier 4 services and Adult Eating Disorder services across the East Midlands to work together in a new partnership, to reduce delays, gaps in service and improve outcomes for the service users, their families and carers. Our Team leads and facilitates the case management, contracting, finance, business intelligence and organisational development to deliver new ways of working. NHFT hosts the commissioning team for both CAHMS Tier 4 and Adult Eating Disorders and this role will support the team, reporting to the Collaborative Finance Business Partner.
The chosen candidate is expected to be a team player, have a strong work ethic, excellent customer care skills, and a sense of accountability while supporting the Commissioning Delivery Team by assisting with a variety of finance tasks.
Applications from Senior Administrators with excellent Excel skills along with exceptional organisational skills will be considered for this vacancy. This is a full-time vacancy; part-time hours of a minimum of 30 hours may be considered.
The Management Accountant reports to the Commissioning Team Finance Business Partner (Finance Lead). They will build close relationships with managers and colleagues across the Commissioning Team and Provider Collaboratives in a variety of settings. Utilising their expertise to identify, collate and analyse key information from operational and support services. The post holder’s responsibilities will include management accounts, budgets, forecasts, financial bids for new business, financial process improvement, and year-end working papers. They will use all of these outputs to help secure the trust’s financial risk ratings and audit opinion.
