Job summary Are you someone with excellent communication skills who would like to support people with cancer? We have several opportunities here at the North Middlesex Hospital working aspart of the Clinical Nurse Specialist Cancerteams to help assess and offer support using a Holistic Needs Assessment to our cancer patients during their cancer pathway and beyond. The post holder will work closely with the Personalised Cancer Care Manager and Clinical Nurse Specialists to develop care plans and health and well-being programmes, ultimately improving the patient experience. The Cancer Support Worker will be required to initiate and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of staff across the Trust and North Central London including colleagues, service users, carers and other stakeholders. The post holder will be required to work on tasks that have implications for the successful implementation of the Personalised Cancer Care & Stratified Follow-up at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust.
