University of Wolverhampton Graduates, Part-time (16 hours per week) Shifts: Friday: 3pm – 7pm Saturday: 10am – 4pm Sunday: 10am – 4pm Primary Location –Walsall Campus Library, Walsall Campus (but must be able to work occasionally from Harrison Library, City Campus) You will be responsible for ensuring that our students, staff and external visitors have safe access to the library study spaces and provide a basic level of support to all of our library users, ensuring they make the most of the library’s services and facilities. You will have a responsibility for ensuring the effective operation of all library circulation activity including circulation of print books and journals and other loanable devices (e.g. laptops) and will also be required to carry out other general library duties including shelving, roving support, monitoring and maintaining the learning environment, providing support from the helpdesk and troubleshooting equipment issues. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to providing excellent customer service in a busy support environment. You should work well as part of a small team but must also be able to work independently during occasional periods of lone working. You will be primarily based at our Walsall Campus Library but you will be required to work from Harrison Library and City campus on an occasional basis when cover is required.
