An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nurse to join our small anticoagulation specialist team, working full-time or part-time hours. The James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust serves a population of around 230,000 people in the Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, and Waveney areas.
Main duties of the job
This is a key role carrying a level of responsibility along with a demanding workload and great opportunity. The successful candidate will:
1. Provide a Nurse Led Anticoagulation Service offering advice and expertise within the area of anticoagulation.
2. Provide a prescribing and advisory service for all oral and parenteral anticoagulants for inpatients and outpatients.
3. Provide advice on all areas of anticoagulation therapy to colleagues and clients.
4. Provide advice on all areas of Thromboprophylaxis to colleagues within the Trust.

We are looking for an NMC registered independent prescriber with experience in anticoagulation therapy preferred but not essential as you will be supported with training and education.
