Morgan Hunt are working with a large public sector organisation to recruit a .Net Developer on a short term basis - with view to extension.
The purpose of the role is to support the Technical Team Leader and the wider team developing and maintaining delivery of digital solutions and services. As well as working closely within a formal delivery team providing a technical and application perspective throughout, in an agile manner.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
* Working with project managers, technical leads and subject matter experts to develop, maintain, and support key scheme applications.
* Create and maintain Technical documentation of key business applications.
* Diagnosis of faults.
* Technical ownership of application requirements.
* Writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
* Working with Build and release pipelines.
* Write code according to standards, and security review tools.
Essential skills and proven expertise in the following technologies:
* Microsoft .NET (C#), .NetCore, ASP.Net MVC, API development, Object-Oriented Design, SOLID development techniques and design patterns.
Knowledge and experience of:
* Entity Framework, Relational database design, SQL Server Development, SQL Stored procedures, Writing unit and integration tests, Unit Test Frameworks and Tools (Nunit, Moq, etc).
A good working knowledge of some of the following technologies:
* Version Control tools and workflows (GIT), CI/CD pipelines within Azure Devops, Build and deployment automation, Cloud Technologies (Azure), Microservices.
£500 - £600 per day, Inside IR35.
Contract until end of Financial Year - with a view to extension.
Hybrid working - office in central London.
