Senior Landscape Architect Job in Newcastle Upon Tyne\n\nSenior Landscape Architect job to join an employee-owned practice that focuses on designing sustainable, forward-thinking landscapes that bring people and places together. For this role they are offering a salary up to £55,000 + EOT Bonus + 25 Days Holidays + Bank holidays.\n\nThis practice thrives on collaboration and values every team member's contribution, creating an environment where success is a shared achievement. Their work spans a wide range of projects, from unique, small-scale developments to major national schemes across public spaces, education, and renewable energy sectors.\n\nDue to the natural growth of the company they are now looking for experienced Landscape Architects with Particular interest in candidates with either exceptional design or LVIA skills, although a combination is also welcomed.\n\nRole & Responsibilities\n\nLead the design process on a variety of landscape projects, from master planning to detailed design (for design-focused roles)\nUndertake detailed LVIA work, including fieldwork, analysis, and reporting (for LVIA-focused roles)\nCollaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding results\nManage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively\nPrepare high-quality design presentations, reports, and technical drawings\nConduct site visits and assessments to inform design decisions\nMentor and guide junior landscape architects in their professional development\nContribute to the growth and development of the practice.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\nChartered Landscape Architect with a minimum of 3 years post-CMLI experience\nProven track record in delivering successful landscape projects\nFor Design-focused roles: Strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit)\nFor LVIA-focused roles: Extensive experience in undertaking LVIAs, including knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines and GIS\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills\nFull UK driving licence is required.\n\nWhat you get back\n\n£38,000 - £55,000\nEOT scheme\nProfessional Membership fees\nEarly Friday finishes\n25 days holiday + bank holidays.\n\nApply\n\nIf you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
