Florence House Dental Practice
We are looking for a Student Dental Nurse to join our busy 8 surgery practice. We are an NHS and Private practice with a significant orthodontics and implant team.
The practice has orthodontists, implantologists, oral surgeons, endodontists, sedation specialists, and periodontists.
Training will be provided on R4 and a full student training programme.
Working Hours: 5 days a week - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Job Role Includes:
Key Accountabilities:
* Take ownership of daily and weekly organization of the surgery and the decontamination room.
* Work efficiently to keep to appointment times, communicate with reception about any delays, and support the practice in achieving SMART diaries at all times.
* Ensure surgery hygiene and infection control processes are adhered to in line with current guidance, ensuring the decontamination process is followed (HTM 01-05 / WHTM 01-05).
* Maintain practice equipment in line with manufacturer’s instructions.
* Help to encourage patient choice and promote consumables where opportunity allows.
People:
* Build and nurture great working relationships with your dentist, providing effective surgery support.
* Be actively involved in the smooth running of the practice by working well with your practice team.
* Share your knowledge and experience with MyDentist Student Dental Nurses, acting as a mentor where necessary.
Process:
* Understand and adhere to GDC guidelines and responsibilities as a registered nurse.
* Ensure excellent practice regulatory compliance and clinical standards in line with relevant regulation and guidance.
* Ensure all validation documentation is completed and reviewed for surgery and decontamination processes.
* Comply with company health and safety policy and all relevant risk assessments, including the use of sharps, CoSHH assessments, and wearing correct personal protective equipment (PPE).
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.70-£11.44 per hour
