We are looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant (16.25 hours, mornings) who has what it takes to truly make a difference to children. The purpose of this job is to initially support a small group of children within our Early Years setting.
Grade: 3 SCP 3 - 4
Salary: £9,109 - £9,461
The responsibilities include:
1. To undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning and to assist a teacher in the management of children and the learning environment.
2. To support teaching staff in the development and education of children including the provision of specialist skills as appropriate.
3. Understanding and/or experience of the teaching of early reading through phonics.
