Overview: This role is to provide effective leadership of Quality Assurance team, coordinate and carry out all product evaluations work to agreed timescales and maintain Master product quality data. Key Responsibilities: Effectively lead Quality Assurance team and coordinate specific QA processes/activities within Department whilst ensuring a culture of continuous improvement Processes/activities i.e, QA Evaluation, Maintain all QA Quality data, Coordinate evaluation of subcontracted products Ensure all QA test equipment is programmed, maintained and utilised efficiently Coordinate and monitor calibration of all quality measuring/gauge equipment Provide hands on QA support/guidance to all QA Technicians Coordinate and prioritise programme of work for Quality Technicians and ensure adequate cross-functional cover of QA work as required Effective coordination and approval QA team annual leave Manage and publish schedules for agreed QA evaluations and audits Manage evaluations and audits and ensure thorough documentation Support monitoring of manufactured products production data against specified daily standards (Last-Offs) Provide guidance on all quality, product and material related matters Promote continual improvement through the use of processes and procedures whilst adopting and maintaining a long term quality culture.
