We are looking for a Regional Commissioning Manager based in Steps, Scotland.
You will report to the Head of MEICA and Commissioning/Framework Director, overseeing commissioning planning and activities for all projects in your region. You will take ownership of the commissioning process throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring efficient handover and delivery.

Regional Commissioning Manager role:
• Manage and coordinate all commissioning and commissioning planning activities on a day-to-day basis, including process commissioning and testing, within the reg.
• Secure approval for the proposed commissioning plan and ensure seamless integration of assets into existing works, maintaining service level agreements without risk. Achieve swift and effective handovers, including the timely delivery of all commissioning documentation, training, and related materials.
• Develop training plans, coordinate specialist training with equipment suppliers, and deliver training personally when appropriate.
• Promote and oversee off-site testing and pre-commissioning activities conducted by suppliers or other parties.
• Ensure commissioning is conducted safely, in compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Ensure all required commissioning documentation is produced on time and collaborate with Technical Documentation teams for the prompt delivery of O&M manuals.
• Promote efficiencies and enforce strict change control procedures.
• Monitor, measure, and report on performance, driving continuous improvement while developing and enhancing commissioning processes and systems.
Regional Commissioning Manager requirements:
• Relevant degree (electrical, mechanical, or process engineering) or equivalent qualification.
• Site experience in commissioning, ideally within the water industry.
• Electrical SAP qualification is desirable.
• Previous experience as a commissioning manager in a similar industry and company size.
