Package Description: As a “Pharmacy Technician”, you’ll be part of our valued team:

Main Responsibilities:
1. Work as an effective member of the Pharmacy team in providing healthcare services, including medication administration to patients.
2. Assist in the delivery of a high-quality pharmacy service, providing medicines management services.
3. Provide pharmacy-related information to patients, prison officers, and other healthcare professionals.
4. Maintain clear and comprehensive, signed, and contemporaneous records both written and electronic.
5. Recognise signs and symptoms of drug and alcohol withdrawal and support patients.
6. Communicate effectively with other team members, prison staff, and external agencies.
7. Undertake all mandatory and additional training as identified.
The Ideal Candidate:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build and develop relationships, and must be confident and capable of autonomous practice.
Essential Experience / Qualifications:
1. Qualified with an NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent.
2. Registered Pharmacy Technician with current General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) membership.
3. Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-professional team within a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Experience:
1. Experience in a Prison environment.
2. Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
