He or she will be required to assist the maintenance team whilst they carry out planned and reactive building maintenance. This will be a good opportunity for someone fresh out of college or someone looking to progress their career as my client has a history of up-skilling engineers whether that be electrical or mechanical qualifications. The successful candidate will ideally have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have proven track record in building maintenance although my client is willing to look at candidates with minimal experience as long as you are will to be put through additional training. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £26,000, overtime, further training, and a potential route into further career progression. Hours of workMonday to Friday8 am - 5 pmKey Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide non-technical support to the site team and daywork team, primarily handling daily reactive help desk tasks.Perform routine fabric maintenance to meet and exceed service level agreements.Address and complete all reactive tasks logged to meet and exceed expectations.Undertake painting, decorating, and a range of DIY tasks to maintain an attractive environment.Assist the engineering team with planned and reactive engineering activities.Complete all relevant paperwork for PPM, reactive, and breakdown works promptly.Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.Maintain comprehensive maintenance records where applicable.Undertake lone working when required, subject to satisfactory training.PackageSalary of up to £26,000Monday to Friday 08.00 – 17.0025 days holiday Bank HolidaysFull company uniformPDA and Mobile phonePensionLife AssuranceEmployee Shares SchemesReward programme & Employee programmeEmployee discounts.RequirementsBasic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance.
