Tenancy Services Officer
Location: Birmingham & Surrounding Areas, B15 1LZ
£14,132 per annum (Equivalent of £35,330 full-time)
Life as a Tenancy Services Officer is challenging – the role is intensive and works with some of our most challenging and vulnerable customers. But it is also rewarding and exhilarating, in which no two days are the same and you’re supported by a close-knit team.
Our Tenancy Services Officers deliver high quality tenancy and housing management services that meet the needs and aspirations of our customers and contribute towards the wider business objectives and purpose of the organisation.
You’ll predominantly concentrate on managing the behaviours of our customers - proactively dealing with behaviour related tenancy breaches and building relationships with partner agencies, both internal and external, to safeguard our customers. Nothing at Midland Heart is delivered by one individual – you’ll be part of a wider team of housing professionals working to deliver a brilliant service in-line with our service first ethos.
Please note, this is a part-time, permanent role covering a patch located in Bromsgrove, Redditch, Nuneaton & Bedworth.
We operate a true hybrid working model in which we deliver our service from the best location for the service to be delivered. You can therefore expect a healthy balance of remote and onsite working.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
1. Previous experience of working closely with vulnerable individuals to deliver a positive outcome for their customers.
2. Previous experience of addressing challenging customer behaviour.
3. Previous experience of managing a complex high-volume caseload.
Who are Midland Heart? We’re a large and ambitious housing organisation providing more people an affordable place to call home. We welcome people from every walk of life, at every stage of their career. We expect a lot from our people but in return you can be assured of a great place to work, where you’ll be well rewarded and where great people are able to succeed. Whether you want to build your career with us, or use your experience to move on, we’re here to develop your potential.
We are proud to say we have recently been named in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work list, within the Big Organisations category (The Times).
