Brierley Hill Primary is a one-form entry school catering for pupils from 3-11 years and we put our children at the heart of everything we do. Governors are looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor from Autumn 2024 to join our dedicated lunchtime supervisory team. The role involves: supervising children in the dining hall, on the playground, and in classrooms during inclement weather, ensuring the children are safe and our behaviour policy is followed consistently at all times, ensuring a range of activities are available to engage pupils, administering first aid when required, safeguarding the children (full training is given at induction and throughout your employment with us). The successful candidate will be able to multitask, work flexibly and have a ‘can do’ approach to work, as no two days are ever the same They will also need to be reliable, organised and approachable. A key part of the role is liaising with school staff, sports coaches and pupils so good communication skills are essential. Providing a happy, inclusive and nurturing environment for our pupils is essential, to prepare the children for afternoon lessons. We value our staff and ensure that all roles within school are well supported and development and training is available.
