Compliance Monitoring Officer - 12 Month Contract

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Monitoring Officer to join a dynamic compliance team. This role is integral to ensuring that the business operates within the framework of regulatory requirements, primarily those set by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of the compliance monitoring programme, identifying and mitigating compliance risks, and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Compliance Monitoring Programme:
* Conduct individual reviews in line with the annual compliance plan.
* Identify key regulatory risks linked to business activities.
* Conduct research on regulatory requirements relevant to review areas.
* Assist in constructing detailed monitoring and testing plans.
* Review and Reporting:
* Liaise with business teams to gather and review evidence.
* Document findings and prepare comprehensive review reports.
* Present findings to senior compliance staff and management.
* Track and monitor the implementation of action points arising from reviews.
* Collaboration and Communication:
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues in compliance, business management, and other control functions.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
* A strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements, including those of the PRA and FCA.
* Excellent analytical and research skills to identify risks and develop effective solutions.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and professionally.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Extensive experience in conducting thematic reviews and desk based reviews
