Negotiable salary circa £40K – £50K pa plus car options & other benefits. Part Time / Flexible working option available – paid pro rata.
Normal working hours Monday – Friday 8.30 – 5.00. 25 days Holiday plus Bank Holidays or Part Time Flexible Time to discuss.
On behalf of our Client, we are looking for an experienced candidate to deliver training on Electrical Health and Safety, Safe Isolation & Resetting Trips & Overloads, Duty Holder’s Safety of Electrical Systems, Fundamental Industrial Electrical Inspection and Testing, C&G 18th Edition, In-Service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment, C&G 2391.
The role would suit an Electrical Trainer or Instructor working within another educational organisation or college. We have successfully recruited experienced Maintenance Managers, Electricians & Multiskilled Engineers who have the required experience within the industrial environment & are keen to help others learn.
As a Training Instructor, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with customers from all manufacturing sectors, making use of a wide variety of hardware to conduct the training courses to train our Clients’ customers and in-house teams.
Our Client has a first-class reputation and has invested heavily in their ability to provide training courses both locally at customer sites or at the Client's own premises.
This is a brilliant role for an Industrial Electrical Engineer to take a career change by moving into a coaching role.
As a Training Instructor, your role & responsibilities would be:
* Primarily to support & deliver some of our key Industrial courses.
* Develop & maintain good training notes & materials to deliver the training.
* Help build new examples & exercises for the training.
* Occasionally you may be required to visit a customer site in order to assess skills or help fault-find.
* Courses are delivered in the company Training Centre and also on client sites across the UK & occasionally overseas.
Skills and experience required:
* Knowledge, experience and qualification in the Electrical areas mentioned above.
* The ability to communicate clearly & a strong desire to help others learn.
* IT skills including the MS Office package.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Previous involvement with coaching, mentoring &/or developing colleagues or delivering classroom-led training would be an advantage.
* More important is knowledge of the requirements of the job in industry & the strong desire to help others learn.
