We are looking for an Equity and Emerging Talent Lead to work with us in embedding justice and equity into natures recovery. In this role you will be fundamental in championing current and future generations dedicated to bringing about natures recovery. You’ll oversee the end-end management and development of our early and emerging talent programmes. To be successful you will always be eager to celebrate diversity and centre true inclusion. You will be keen to create innovative initiatives to benefit people and wildlife. You will channel your passion for equity into building pathways for future talent who will be at the helm of tackling the biodiversity and climate crisis. At Derbyshire Wildlife Trust we have seen an organisation culture shift towards equitable, inclusive practices which has promoted agile working, real living wage accreditation and an adoption of an inclusive culture. Through our inclusion work we have seen a 23% increase in our demographic diversity. In addition, a wider reach in the audiences we engage with. All this has seen additional support and resource pulled towards achieving our strategic goals.
