Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistants Required
Are you an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge?
We are currently recruiting skilled SEND Support Assistants to work across our partner schools in Rotherham, supporting children aged 3 to 19.
If you have relevant experience or a related degree, this role could be an excellent fit!
Role:
We are looking for proactive individuals with a strong commitment to supporting young people who face barriers to learning.
This role involves working 1:1 or as part of the classroom support team, helping students manage behaviour, complete their work, and engage socially.
In some schools, there may be elements of personal care for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties, which can be discussed in further detail at the interview stage.
Ideal Candidate:
- Background in education or a strong willingness to learn.
- Experience working with children, either personally or professionally.
- Skilled in managing challenging behaviour.
- Flexibility to work across different school sites as some schools operate across multiple locations.
- Previous experience in care (advantageous if you haven't worked in an educational setting).
- Training in Team Teach or Moving and Handling is beneficial but not essential.
