An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Casual Connect Customer Advisors to join our Connect 24/7 emergency monitoring and response service.
You would become part of an ambitious team delivering an invaluable service to the residents of Middlesbrough.
Connect is a Middlesbrough Council service which delivers the Community alarm services and Telecare services to people across Middlesbrough. We offer help and support to older, vulnerable, and disabled people to help them to remain safe and independent in their own home.
You will provide a high standard of person-centred care when answering the calls on the community alarm system. You will assess the service user's needs, offer support, guidance and advice and decide on the most appropriate action to be taken. This may include contacting the emergency services, a responder nominated or the Connect Response Officers.
In this role, good communication skills are vital, also responding with empathy is important as well as providing the reassurance the service user needs.
This post works on a shift pattern which includes weekends and night shifts.
