Connells Survey & Valuation Ltd is a Chartered Surveying and panel management company that offers a national service to clients. Our main role is to provide mortgage valuation and survey reports on residential properties in the United Kingdom and support to our lender clients, the banks and building societies, who provide the public with mortgages.
The key focus for the Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) will be to analyse and review the operational performance including Due Diligence governance of firms on the Connells' valuation panel, maximising panel availability, and identifying/on-boarding new suppliers as necessary. This role requires collaboration with colleagues at all levels and senior staff within panel firms.
The Supplier Relationship Manager is expected to:
* Develop great relationships with panel firms by:
o Acting as key contact point for queries
o Maintaining strong communication with firms
o Being open and honest in dealings with panel firms
o Working collaboratively to achieve great results
o Always having the customer at the heart of everything we do
* Visit panel surveying firms across the UK in accordance with client requirements to:
o Regularly review and discuss performance KPIs with panel firms to measure actual results against expectations (face to face or audio at least every 12 months)
o Engage with panel firms immediately where an urgent performance issue is identified
o Co-ordinate specific training requirements with Audit for delivery to panel to improve knowledge and service
o Create and manage action plans to improve any shortfall in performance
o Review working practices in line with RICS, client, and company guidelines and align/improve where necessary
o Prepare monthly panel performance communications for distribution to firms
o Review governance around company policies relating to:

+ Data Management / Protection
+ Records Management
+ Health & Safety
+ Anti-Bribery & Corruption & Money Laundering
+ Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery
+ Physical Security
+ Pre-Employment Screening
* Deliver constructive feedback to panel firms following site visits and upon receipt of completed Due Diligence templates, agreeing with the firm any actions required to address identified issues.
* Undertake follow-up visits/calls where necessary to confirm compliance relating to areas previously highlighted as requiring action.
* Be consistent in all dealings with panel firms and demonstrate enthusiasm to deliver the best service for our customers and clients.
* Actively seek to identify and recruit new firms to the panel to ensure appropriate coverage for clients across all locations and job types.
* Support the team in chasing Due Diligence action plans as appropriate to ensure gaps identified in reviews are closed.
* Work with other Survey and Valuation colleagues, where appropriate, to deliver excellent service to clients and customers.
