Long-Term Teachers are working with fantastic mainstream and SEND schools for pupils, and we are looking for more qualified primary school teachers to come on board to support these local schools.
We are seeking a caring, dedicated, qualified teacher who can build trusting relationships with students, parents, and peers. It is essential that you have at least 2 years of teaching experience in the UK. You will be planning and delivering sessions for students in Key Stage 2, so prior experience teaching this key stage is desirable.
Essential requirements before applying:
* Qualified teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching across the primary phase
* An accomplished and experienced classroom teacher
* Experience in setting targets, monitoring, assessment, and performance evaluation to raise pupil achievement
* Ability to work well within a team
* Understanding of SEND and support strategies
Key responsibilities:
* Setting and evaluating individual termly targets and maintaining achievement records for CYP, in consultation with colleagues
* Providing reports and assessments for CYP according to school policy, including detailed reports before annual reviews
* Maintaining effective communication with parents/carers regarding their child's welfare, progress, and participation in the school community
* Ensuring the safeguarding of all pupils by adhering to the Education Provisions (EP) safeguarding policies, reporting concerns to the Safeguarding team, and recording information on the EP safeguarding system
