We are looking for an innovative, highly creative, Graphic Design Manager, to join our growing team at The Smarty Train. What would you do in this key role? Here is a snapshot:
* Creative Leadership: Lead complex creative workstreams, overseeing the end-to-end design process from concept to delivery, ensuring high standards are met.
* Create Impactful Visual Designs: Across print, digital, motion, slide decks, and experiential formats, combining creativity and technical skill to deliver engaging and memorable experiences.
* Drive Creative Strategy: Develop and execute creative concepts that align with client objectives, ensuring all deliverables create impact, engagement, and clear messaging.
* Client Partnership: Act as a trusted creative advisor to clients, confidently presenting ideas while proactively identifying opportunities to elevate briefs.
* Creative Governance: Uphold and refine TST’s creative standards by ensuring all collateral adheres to brand guidelines, while also challenging conventions to deliver fresh and original ideas.
* Process Evolution: Identify and implement improvements to creative processes, workflows, and tools to improve efficiency and maintain design excellence at scale.
* Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting quickly to shifting priorities while maintaining high creative standards and meeting tight deadlines.
This might be your next role, does this sound like you?
* Exceptional eye for detail with advanced visual storytelling and design skills
* Expert in Adobe Suite (After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and PowerPoint
* Enhance briefs by challenging ideas and delivering impactful solutions
* Ability to adapt style to various brand guidelines e.g. creating look & feel campaigns
* Strong at communicating and collaborating in a project-based, consultancy environment
* Highly organised with excellent time management skills and ability to hit multiple tight deadlines
* Proactively takes ownership of creative projects while mentoring, guiding, and potentially line managing junior team members
* Continuously keep on top of current and emerging design trends
* Open to receiving and implementing feedback to achieve the best outcome for the client and project
Do you have this experience?
* 5+ years’ experience working as a Graphic Designer or similar
Further experience with:
* Client management, pitching ideas and offering creative solutions in a fast-paced environment
* Developing brand look & feel
* Designing for print, digital, motion, and experiential environments
* Experience working with a variety of brand guidelines
* Knowledge of social media content creation and current trends
These would be very ‘nice to have':
* Experience designing and delivering materials for immersive events
* Proficiency in Illustration
* Interest in the L&D world of talent/development
